I have always loved small business. My family likes to tell stories of when I was a kid. At eight, I used to catch turtles and sell them to my friends – ‘red ears’ were 25¢.

Then there was this story. At the age of ten, the drive-thru hamburger joints were just getting popular. I opened up ‘Ben in the Box’ and proceeded to sell my Mother’s groceries from the driveway bathroom window to all of the neighborhood kids on their bikes. I’m not proud of that, but it makes for a good story.
I grew to start businesses of many kinds – some successful and some not so. However, I have learned something about myself over the years and that I am fascinated by small businesses of all kinds.

All of us have that inner desire and craving to create. I know now why I enjoy designing websites. Each one is a fresh new creation. I get excited after I speak with a prospective client and begin to contemplate the many possibilities of how their particular business can be best portrayed.
After years of creating web pages for my own businesses and for friends, I established Splash New Media in April 2001.
So, here we are. And the great thing is that we haven’t had to advertise at all – no SPAM emails, no cold calls – none of that. All of our business has come from referrals from friends and clients.
If you like what you see, then give me a call or contact ume here through the website and let’s talk about what I can do for you!
